Dataset Store (DSS) is DELMIA Quintiq’s internal NoSQL, MVCC, append-only object database designed for real-time transactions with full ACID compliance. Integrated into the QDBODBC component, it eliminates the need for traditional relational databases, external licenses, and dedicated database administrators. Instead of using a query language, it relies on Quintiq’s Quill for data retrieval, ensuring seamless performance. The entire Dataset Store is stored as a single file on the filesystem, meaning there is no network, firewall, or intermediary that could introduce delays or issues.
